After a year of hibernation, on Saturday, April 7th -- ECHT returns with a night of live music, good times, and the kind of Brooklyn revelry that only a warehouse party on the mighty Gowanus can provide.
For those of you unacquainted, ECHT is an artist collective, a creative community, and a platform for expression and connection. Our past events have included Mamet plays and bonfires in the backyard, evenings of Hygge and funk to keep spirits warm and light in the wintertime, and our Fear/Love series in which we opened the stage and the mic to amigos, allies, and artists in NYC.
This next one is a celebration of life (on the heels of Easter, Spring, and Paul's 35th), plus we just can't help ourselves with the puns. We're excited to debut The Dons, an R&B outfit prepared to make you dance, grimace, and sang. We'll also feature some fine home-grown music with bands TBA as we get closer to the event.
The spot is at 99 9th St. in Brooklyn, super close to the Smith/9th F/G. Doors open at 8, and we'll close 'em when we're finished. $10 gets you in. Beer, wine, and whiskey will be flowing from our cash bar at friendly rates. Come stoke the flame with us!!
